What About You?

I blog. I write about myself all the time. I write about chronic this or that. I get sick of me!

What I’d really like, is to get to know you!

I want to ask you three questions! Don’t think, just answer!

Ready?

  1. What was your favorite childhood game?
  2. What did you name your first pet?
  3. What is your ‘go to’ article of clothing?

Write your answers in the comment section! It’ll be fun!ย

  1. Hahaha! I blog. I write about me all the time. Here, let me write some more about myself…

Chess… It’s all about knowing your opponent’s game, finding all the possible ways to win while sacrificing a few pawns along the way, and out maneuvering them to be the Queen of Battle. Ironic.

Mittens was a kitten and she got her name because she had 4 white paws. She was run over by a car.

Go to… Um. It once was a leather jacket and scarf tied around my neck. Then it was pretty dresses. Then it was pashminas. After that it was pumps. Now?! Don’t judge me: yoga pants or leggings with a comfy top. I can wear them neatly around my stump or they look sleek with my prosthetic, plus also they’re comfy when I’m stuck in a wheelchair.

  2. 1. Game of life (I always laughed so hard when I was forced to marry).
    2. Pipsy (well, I was six and Pipsy was a budgie).
    3. Jeans (I can wear them all day long, while walking the dogs or with a nice blouse in the evening).

  3. 1. Sitting on the arms of a chair with a friend pretending that we were riding horses
    2. Max. He was my family’s pet and named by my mother. He was a miniature Dachshund and completely vicious to anyone not in his ‘pack’; we once had to rescue a dustman who Max had pinned to the gate – poor man was terrified!
    3. Jeans or shorts depending on the temperature.

You were right, that was fun ;O) xx

  4. 1. What was your favorite childhood game? Cards. Even as a kid, my dad would play cards with me (made up his own rules, so there was me thinking I could play real poker age 5!) Gambling was with Malteser chocolates.
    2. What did you name your first pet? Fred. He was a goldfish. Biggest damn goldfish that ever lived.
    3. What is your โ€˜go toโ€™ article of clothing? Dr Martens boots, Iโ€™d live in them everyday. And a jumper (or three) because Iโ€™m always cold.

  5. I am so lame, I really can’t tell you a favorite, but I do have memories of playing almost everything that was mentioned above. The first time I chose the names for my animals it was D.O.G. for my dog and C.A.T for my cat, also kind of lame…as far as favorite clothes…my favorite has always been something from a friend or boyfriend

    1. Not lame! These are just fun questions, my friend! Dog and Cat. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚ I seriously thought about naming my dog, Kitty, just to freak people out… still might one day. I loved guyโ€™s Leviโ€™s. And wearing my manโ€™s jacket. I totally get this. Thanks๐Ÿ˜Š
