I have been nominated for a Patient Leader Advocacy Award!
What’s a Patient Leader?
A Patient Leader uses their own health journey to raise awareness, share knowledge and help others. They leverage social media to amplify their voice, connect with peers, and build community. They are the thought leaders, and transformers industry leaders turn to for insights and expertise they need to build a more patient-centered, consumer-driven healthcare ecosystem.

My Bio for WEGO Health:
Hello! My name is Kim. I write a blog; I Tripped Over a Stone, Life with Fibromyalgia. I administer a fibromyalgia support group and am a member of the Fibro Blogger’s Directory. I have had Fibromyalgia Syndrome for a little over 20 years. I blog and counsel people who have chronic illnesses. I strive to offer guidance to those who’ve asked for it, but answers never seem to come. I write for those who search for hope, but it seems ever so fleeting. I offer to understand those who simply want to be heard and have found the cost of this, too high. Life is happening! We may be uncertain of the outcome, but we can learn to live our bests lives, even with our illnesses.
“Kim has had Fibromyalgia for over 20 years and blogs about it with depth and insight often tackling the emotional side of things. She has a great following. She is wonderful at collaborating and helping others.” — Lesley
I am very excited for all of the nominees!
